The Greater Astoria Historical Society staff offers on-site and off-site presentations about a variety of topics related to both local history as well as broader historical topics. You are also invited to request presentations on specific topics, and our staff would be happy to create the presentation specifically for your group or event.
Presentations must be scheduled in advance and it is requested that you contact the Society at least four weeks but no more than 6 months before your desired date. However more advanced notice will be needed for special topics.
Presentations are usually about 45 minutes to one hour but can be adjusted by request.
A donation of $150 is requested, per offsite presentation, to cover staff time. There may be additional fees assessed for travel, talks that occur outside normal business hours, or for custom presentations.
