Walt Disney, who passed away 50 years ago this month, pioneered the animation industry. He was an American entrepreneur, animator and voice actor. As a film producer Disney holds the record for most Academy Awards earned by an individual, having won twenty-two Oscars, two Golden Globe Special Achievement Awards and an Emmy Award, among other honors. Several of his films are included in the National Film Registry by the Library of Congress.

Old favorites, as Natalia the Saw Lady, a stirring reading of the ‘Visit by St. Nick’, and a classic Lionel train crossing the Hell Gate Bridge round out the evening.
