Peeking through the Keyhole: living and working in Long Island City from 1920 – 1950.

Look inside a typical home or office and examine artifacts from a time yet in living memory – a TV from the 1940s, chrome finished home appliances from the 1930s, a 1950s adding machine that weighed 50 pounds – and much more!

These programs are supported by public funds form the NYC Department of Cultural Affairs and NYC Council Member Peter Vallone, Jr. Additional support provided by the membership of the Greater Astoria Historical Society.
