History Roundtable Cuban Missile Crisis

Join us for a 50 year anniversary retrospective on the event that brought the world closer to nuclear war than it has ever been.
Topics will include: U.S., Soviet and Cuban relations prior to the crisis, the principle players’ response and its dramatic effect on President Kennedy‘s subsequent world view.
Program will include viewing of the 2000 film Thirteen Days.
