Who were Roscoe Conkling and William Seward? This tour will fill you in, as well as other semi-obscure American political and military notables in Madison Square Park. We’ll also take a walk down 5th Avenue to 14th and take a look at some of NYC’s most beautiful architecture, including the Flatiron Building.

Meet: 12 noon, NE corner of 5th Avenue and 23rd Street, Madison Square at William Seward statue. Take the R/N rain to 23rd Street. Check weekend schedules for service changes.

Admission $20. GAHS members $15

Time of tour approx. 2 hours. Rain or shine though a monsoon-type tour will cancel.
