RMS Titanic: The Exhibit

Lecture by Gary Vollo, member of the Titanic Historical Society.
Includes original film of the Titanic leaving port and a piece of coal brought up from the sea floor.
Special guest speaker, “Titanic Joe” Colletti will also talk about the Titanic House, long an attraction in Long Island City.
Joe will also share his personal interviews with a number of Titanic survivors whose riveting first hand accounts promise to make this an unforgettable evening.
Exhibit includes original material from the Titanic House in Long Island City.

Astoria author Lindsay Gibbs, who wrote the “Titanic: The Tennis Story,” a historical novel.
The book is based on a true story of two Hall of Fame Tennis players who survived the Titanic … and went on to play each other in the quarterfinals of the U.S. Open just two years later!
