Forgotten NY Tour - Ravenswood

Walk with FNY in Ravenswood, which hugs the East River just south of Astoria and is home to a couple of surprising former mansions (it’s one of Queens’ former “gold coasts”) but also a number of factory buildings harking to a manufacturing past as well as two unique museums, Socrates Sculpture Park and Noguchi Musuem.
Enjoy breathtaking Manhattan views in Rainey Park and hear about some secrets of Roosevelt Island.
There’s also Queens’ only vehicular-pedestrian connection to Roosevelt Island!
Meet at the entrance to Socrates Sculpture Park, Broadway and Vernon Boulevard.
$20; $15 for Greater Astoria Historical Society members.
Where: Get off Broadway Station on the Q or N Train, and take the Q 104 bus to the entrance of Socrates Park.
