THE CHALLENGE OF CLIMATE CHANGE: What needs to be done and how do we do it?
This meeting will take place a week after the end of the international climate conference in Paris.

This meeting will take place a week after the end of the international climate conference in Paris.

Conference attendee, Tom Paino from Long Island City will give a short presentation on the Climate Change Row House.

How do we build the pressure for change from the bottom up?

We will talk with activists and others about what is being done and what more can be done.

The emphasis in this workshop will be on the direct and personal – how do you respond to the threat of climate change and the issues it raises?

By examining what moves us to concern and action we can find the things that will move others.

This program is supported by public funds from the NYC Department of Cultural Affairs.

Additional support provided by the membership of the Greater Astoria Historical Society.
